StepLoom Application
These Terms & Conditions apply to the StepLoom mobile app ("Application"), developed and operated by Bryxoft ("Service Provider", "we", "us"), offered as a free, ad-supported service with an optional one-time premium unlock.
By downloading, installing, or using StepLoom, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Application. Unauthorized copying, modification, reverse engineering, decompiling, or creating derivative works of the Application, or any of its content or trademarks, is strictly prohibited. All trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights in the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
We're always working to make StepLoom better, and we reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of the Application at any time. Any charges for premium features will always be clearly communicated to you before you're asked to pay.
StepLoom offers an optional, one-time premium unlock. This is a single purchase, not a recurring subscription. Purchases are processed securely by Google Play Billing — we never collect or store your payment card details. All purchases are subject to the refund policies of the Google Play Store.
The free version of StepLoom is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Ads help us keep the core app free for everyone. Where required by applicable law — including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland — you will be shown a consent screen before personalized ads are served, and you can change your ad preferences at any time from the app's Settings. You can remove ads entirely via the one-time premium unlock.
StepLoom stores your step and activity data locally on your device. It's your responsibility to keep your device and its access secure. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this can weaken your device's security and may cause the Application to malfunction.
StepLoom relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms:
Step tracking, history, and reminders work fully offline. Some functionality — such as ad delivery, analytics, or crash reporting — requires an active internet connection. We're not responsible for reduced functionality caused by a lack of connectivity, an uncharged device, or denied permissions (such as the motion/activity permission required to count steps).
While we strive to keep step counts and statistics accurate, sensor-based step counting can vary by device and is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of perfect accuracy. StepLoom is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
We may release updates to the Application from time to time, and you agree to install them to continue using the latest version. We may also discontinue the Application at any time. If we do, your license to use the Application will end, and you should uninstall it from your device.
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. Changes will be posted on this page along with an updated effective date, so please check back from time to time.
